The Research Development Institute (RDI) at Algonquin College is excited to announce the opening of the Applied Research Funding Opportunity for the 2024-2025 intake. Full-time and part-time faculty members are invited to submit their proposals from now until June 14, 2024. 

This funding opportunity aims to foster partnerships between faculty, students, and industry/community partners, enabling them to work collaboratively on highly strategic applied research projects that generate new knowledge, address real-world challenges, and promote innovation in various fields at Algonquin College.   

Key details: 

• Funding available: Faculty members can apply for funding from $20,000 to $50,000 for up to two semesters.    
• Total projects: Five projects will be selected for the 2024-2025 intake. 
• Submission dates: Application period opens on March 18 and closes on June 14, 2024. 
• Announcement of results: Recipients will be notified at the beginning of August 2024. 
• Application support: Stay tuned for upcoming faculty sessions where the RDI will provide valuable insights and guidance on crafting your project proposal.
